He graduated with honours at the Faculty of Civil Engineering of the University of Pisa.
He was then awarded for a PhD position in Sciences and Techniques of Civil Construction at the Department of Civil Engineering of the University of Pisa, working on a project regarding the recovery and protection of building structures of Baixa Pombalina in Lisbon.
After the PhD, he worked as a post-doc on researches related to the architecture and recovery of urban coastal areas.
Afterwards, he started to work as teaching assistant at the Faculty of Civil Engineering and Architecture of Pisa in the courses of Graphics Design and Architecture and Architectural Composition I and II.
He was involved as tutor in the Florence Architectural Workshop, editions 2007, 2008 and 2011.
In 2003, he began his career as civil engineer working in different fields such as urban planning, construction and civil engineering, gaining experiences on new constructions and building renovations in significant areas of landscape and environment.
In January 2013, he founds the MUN studio.
